I've had a lifelong love affair with anything two or four wheels and was fortunate enough to have a dad who was bike mad - he had me on trial bikes from the age of 7 years old - but had impatient instructor whose expectations where above and beyond my ability resulting in lots of tumbling off the bike!

I got onto the road at 16 on the obligatory Fs1e and passed my test at 17 with the old Star rider training scheme and had been racing circuits from my early teens on and off. I then got addicted to motorsport and was heavily involved in competitive rallies!

My first teaching appointment was at the John Hogland Rallye School in Norway developing driving on snow and ice and after taking early retirement and handing the family business to the kids I started working as a motorcycle instructor and have been developing my training techniques over the last 11-12 years. I still compete in national and international motorcycle rallies.

I am a full time CBT & DAS Instructor at RJH based in Manchester.
